I really liked this website.  It's small and has a singular, laser-like focus...and you may be one of just a few people who ever see it.

Our client was an ad agency that specialized in employment advertising.  They had just a couple of very big national clients and they were very busy trying to keep those clients' assembly lines full of workers.  When the recession of 2009 hit, and those companies now had to fight off lines of applicants suddenly looking for a job - any job - they didn't need the agency to find more applicants.

The agency looked to diversify into other areas, one of which was to help the stumbling hospitality industry fill rooms with some unique promotions.

Unfortunately, the job market crashed too quickly and the agency closed.

A Direct Marketing Website

The idea was to mail a powerful direct mail piece to hotel and motel owners.  It was a classic 2-Step Marketing Program:  Use direct mail (Step 1) to invite recipients to (Step 2) find out more at a website.  The mailer had a "secret code" scratch off that gave them a password to access the information.  As part of the sign-up, the agency would capture an email address to add to their contact information.  By tracking who got the information, they would have a list of "hot" prospects to call and sell the program to.
