Top Shelf Interiors is a home and commercial interior remodeler in Gilbert Arizona that serves the greater Phoenix area.. They specialize in Cabinetry for kitchen and bath, Countertops in granite and other stone materials, and any kind of Flooring from ceramic and stone tile to wood & laminates and carpeting. We first worked together on a direct mail postcard promoting their new business and not long after that created their website.
The site is designed to look a little like a design proposal with a set of pictures paper clipped to it. The top picture is an animation showing off several high end kitchen designs.
Two Different Approaches in One
The site is structured so that visitors can come from an analytical or a creative mind set. For the creative mind set, we feature "whole" concepts on the left-hand menu just under the logo. Visitors can choose a room and drill down into the various elements that make up the room. For the more analytical visitor who knows they want flooring or countertops, they can choose an item from the horizontal menu and drill down into the options for each.
Another nifty feature is the random testimonial box that pops up on every page. Since testimonials are a big help in deciding which company gets a customer's business, we make sure that there is a parade of them for the customer to see as they move through the site.
A final feature available for Top Shelf (unused at the time of this writing) is a customer/project page which can feature a description of a project and a website photo gallery of that project. The website photo gallery is automatically created simply by uploading pictures into a folder on the site. This can become a nice tool to show visitors the type of work Top Shelf can do.
